i think you should stick with your curent firmware because the phones with R1AA firmware take bad pics, just look at C905 pics in the 8mpx comparison from phonearena

I've had the latest firmware on my phone from the start. Some of these pics you post Plank have probably been edited before being loaded onto Flickr anyway.
