I saw hot pixels in the Xperia S... Hope everything turns out fine in the final phone!

Come on, most people don't even look at the full size pics. They'd prefer to be able to actually see something rather than having crisp snow textures on the street.

I'm with you here. As I already mentioned, I'd rather have noisy pictures that show more details than images that show a nice, un-noisy black area Of course it would be nice to have less noise also in those pictures, but I guess there are physical boundaries here... Especially if you want to run that marketing megapixel race.

I must be one of the very few who on this forum who does not give a monkeys about the camera on a phone. Design, build quality, all round performance and a great screen is what's most important to me. Hopefully the Xperia S wont disappoint.

They should get rid of chroma noise from iso 50-100 daytime shots and lower sharpening levels first. Chroma noise has been S(E) problem for ages and nothing has been done about it.

Man ... can't we all enjoy a smartphone for what its worth and not singularly complain about a particular feature/function BEFORE the device is available to ALL that are complaining?!!

- we're getting to be like old ladies here.

Lets reserve critical judgement until we have the unit in our hands and can fully take it through all its paces, no?

Everyone is talking about prices and such on Europe, but there isn't ANYTHING related to USA? I'm goin' to buy there, and it can't be much more expensive. I think it should hit US stores (online or not) somewhere in March with a cost of something around US$450~500. Using, as base, price comparations between Xperia Arc in US and Europe, as the numbers are the same.

I'm goin' to get a white one, it's a sexy beast.

About the camera, it's awesome. Some photos scattered around this topic are ''more or less'', but the rest is fine for me. I don't use too much of my camera on my X10 MP, but maybe start using this sexy beast.
