Lol, some Sony fans got VERY upset when I brought this up a few days ago in the Z thread, but yes, he did....clock is ticking!


I have preordered my GS4 from two carriers now here, VodaCom and Cell C, who ever gives the better sim free price will get my money.

Ive never known such stupid people as worf, Away & randomAbuser come to this forum and literally make themselves look so little, narrow minded and stupid on so many occasions just to defend a company and their products from people like us with free choice and opinions. Im considering petitioning Laffen or something to removed these extremists from Esato. This site has been around for many years now and is being ruined or made to be like all those other sites out there where people are allowed to swear and insult people continually. It doesn't put me off using the site, but im sure it does others who join or read what they say. I know if i were new to the site and read their comments, i would think twice before posting and contributing to the forum and then probably move on without ever doing so. Geez i wish Masseur was still here ! At least we could argue without resorting to name calling back in his day.

It wouldn't be so bad if Sony owed them something, but they don't. Sony wont ever do them any favours. Neither will Samsung or HTC, Motorola or LG etc. But yet they'll blast out propaganda like their lives depend on it.

What total morons we have on this forum now.

Its tricky.All this mud slinging is also what keeps these forums alive.I dont post when things get nasty because its not in my nature but on the other hand I do tend to come in once in a while for the 'entertainment' aspect of these battles.You need a bit of both worlds for forums to work.Constructive talk and trash talk go hand in hand.Don't get so emotional over all of this.

I raised the very same concerns some time last year.

I no longer come here as I used to because of these new users who are just childish and really ignorant. It is said to see this site degenerating into what it is today.

I agree to an extent, the problem is these days there are too many insults flying about here on esato. It really puts me off.

GS4 octa scores lower than "outdated" Xperia Z in latest GLBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex and real world gaming performance is worse than even S3, so no question of a comparison with Xperia Z and HTC One

And before someone makes a defensive post saying it's not final retail firmware, it IS final retail firmware.

I think you forgot that it was you and your buddy who started all this and not me or Away. So whatever you posted applies more to you and your fellow Samfriend.

Otherwise I'd simply not waste my time posting in Samsung threads as I absolutely hate Samsung and its products. Wouldn't even spend a penny on a Samsung EVER.

And I'm saying it once more - If you and your friends stop posting on Sony threads, I will stop bothering about Samsung and ask Away and work1000 to do the same.

your hate towards Samsung really has you posting some stupid things mate, it's quite clear WRT gaming there is a matter of driver issues and lack of optimization for the new GPU, there so many inconsistencies between all these benchmarks its actually quite clear there are some optimization issues, trust you to ignore all that and make it a final conclusion, but thanks for continuing to amuse me, your effort deserves a 10/10, maybe it's due to your desperation?

I'm my own man and if I want to post my opinions in a Sony thread I will. In the end I'm a mobile enthusiast, who happens to like Samsung phones at the moment, I'm not some crazy zealot like you who will bash everything other than my favourite brand and try pass off rubbish as fact...by the way, where's that Xperia Z 4.2.2 update that you said was two weeks away a month ago?

And no, I'm sure it shouldn't have been that hard to understand randomuser was only making a point and explaining things. I don't post relevant comments on his instruction, and he's never asked of anything from me before, we feel the same way because the trolling you people do even in this thread, for example completely rejecting the latest benchmarks which embarrass you whilst earlier propagating ones which showed a different story.

And this doesn't just apply to the Sony threads, look at the HTC one thread.

Anyway, does anyone how long this screen will last before it starts displaying whites with an unmistakable blue hue? Same old problems alive and well. Less sub-pixel dense than displays of lower resolution. I suppose this is what the iPhone 5 is to Apple. Sells well, but the competition will overtake unless there are dramatic changes. And if the 2h flagship doesn't disappoint, which I doubt it can, then they'll know exactly where to look too.

Unfortunetly, no, I don't follow the rumours thread, in the many years I've been here it's one main thread I barely look at, I generally hate reading rumours, this maybe due to each disappointment SE/Sony brought after each major rumour.

The latest benchmarks are on different benchmarking apps, do you not see the major inconsistencies between AnTuTu, Quadrant and GLBenchmarks? Two of them show a powerful SoC in every way, then, these GL ones have a diff story, although some parts of even GL show that the Exynos 5 Octa craps on the S600, there is still a lack of consistency, I mean do you REALLY believe the GS4 would take a stepback in gaming capabilities after the GS3? Does that make any sort of logical sense to you?
