u might try finding someone else with the same phone and trying there charger, that will show u if its a charger problem or a phone.

It may be a good idea to know that when you get a new battery it is advisable to drain it first before charging it for the stated time. All new batteries have some charge on them (depending on how long they've been on the shelf in the store) so run them down so that the first charge is from completely empty.

You can charge the battery as soon as you get it, or you can start using it straight away.

yup, or significant bluetooth useage, java, music with external speaker or talking.

Taking photos and listening to music with the headset is far less batt hungry than the above uses.

In reply to max wedge; with reference to charging the battery straight from the box. Any good electrical engineer will tell you that it is best to drain the battery when the phone is still brand new. This is because the little bit of charge that is on it has normally been obtained from it only being charged for a short while (no more than about 15 minutes) in the factory prior to it being dispatched.

At times i feel worried..

I just got my cell 20 days back.. W810i...and my battery doesnt last a day..!!

I mean it doest gets discharged on its own.... But i am like some 7-8 hrs online in day..!! and the downloading and all drains the battery..!!

So sum ppl said that i shuld use it so much..it will damage my battery very early..!!

What do i do..??
