Just to share some facts:

1 in 3 in the Philippines have mobile phones: Pulse Asia
MANILA (AFP) - One in three people in the Philippines have mobile telephones, including many of its poorest citizens, a nationwide survey said Friday.
Manila-based Pulse Asia said at least 34 percent of the 80 million Filipinos have cellular phones, with 63 percent of the upper to upper-middle classes now owning the devices.
The March 29 to April 12 survey of 1,200 people found at least 17 percent of the poorest sector also had mobile phones. The cheapest handsets here now cost about 2,000 pesos (US$37).
At least 94 percent of owners often used them to send "text" or short message service (SMS) notes to their friends and relatives, it said.
Filipinos also upheld their reputation as the most active "text messagers" in the world, with some 70 percent of the SMS users saying they send as many as 10 messages a day, Pulse Asia said.
Another 13 percent send between 11 to 20 messages a day.
