Liquid-Cooling For Seriouslay Overkill Smartphones "the rig is less the 1 millimeter thick" "...without any additional drain on the battery power".
I see only benefits especially for s810 smartphones in long gaming and such. very
cool.

From a physics perspective it doesn't need to be powered. The liquid should in theory move through the loop by itself as it gets heated up and cooled down.

Where should the thermal output take place in a smartphone? In a larger sized device lets say a tablet the heat generated by the cpu will not expand in the way it does in a smaller form factor. In a smartphone more parts are exposed to the heat than in a tablet. The place where the heat release takes place has to be way more cooler. The only way I could imagine such thing would be in replacing one part of the backplate/backside of the device with a more thermoconductive material than the rest (glass) of the device.

16 days until sept 2nd which is when press days start. I presume Sony will have some teasers out before then.

Hopefully, there will be a couple of teasers at least. Z5, Z5C and Z5TC
If this water cooling tech is successful, does this mean extended 4K recording etc?
