There was a FTTH tender from BSNL,hope they implement it atleast next decade.

@all,how do i check what all programmes are running in my pc??my laptop's harddrive is half filled...no virus or any bad stuff...yet its slow.even when no programme is running,the laptop is slow...the cursor movements are jerky at times,i hear the hard drive working noise...am thinking of reloading windows.

if the mouse cursor becomes sticky, that usually is an indication of bad sectors in the hdd.
