Just ordered my x10 on upgrade from orange should be in my hands by wednesday . I got 7 days to do a full mot on the phone before i return it. So thats wat im gonna do. I just hope its all that ive been waiting for in a se phone since the k810i. But anyways if the x10 turns to be rubbish im going for the htc desire. Spec wise the desire has everything but ive a feeling when x10 gets all its software updates it'll be more than a match for the desire. But 7 days from now I will be more the wiser on the x10. Ill post regular updates on here jus to let u guys know how im coping.

that is slick rickyD... so you slide that thing in your pocket and have to remove it before using it? heh.

i think i'll just use a screen protector or maybe get my hands on a silicone case or invisible shield.

I'm getting the case so when I sit in Frankie & Benny's on my lunch it will look awesome on the table. It's basically pure pimp factor. I will use the screen protector as well, but I just love the idea of white leather on white X10. Sex in my pocket, handsfree you might say.

Sorry I posted this in the wrong thread

What's everyone getting on battery use. The idle usage is really bugging me at the moment. The phone is locked, on standby and it's still losing about 5 per cent an hour - is that reasonable?

I've turned everything off and use an app killer to shut down non essential services. Basically it's doing very little but it's still losing power.

Considering that the X10 spec says up to 400+ hours of standy, I'd say that was horrible. Is GPS/WiFi on? Does turning off the phone radio radio help?

There is a built-in app into Android that can actually tell you which process is eating up the most battery.

Is it possible to install an EQ on the X10 ? The sound is nothing compared to my w995

@rikken:

As of now there's not an app as in the Vivaz/Satio.

I just found out what goodies my X10 has come with.

To my surprise I got this in white:

but I also got a black pouch, screen protector and handsfree (my father who opened the box to tell me what was in it, couldn't tell if it was the MW600 or not).

What is it?

I got jack all with mine, not even a separate USB cable beside the one for the charger
