Well, after a Master reset there is still an error when transferring files from MS via USB to P.C. I even updated the loatest SE software suite and drivers. I get a "parameter is incorrect" error message and then have no acces to MS until I disconnect and reconnect. And, I get phone reboots when transferring a selection of files from Phone memory to P.C. via SE FileManager. So to SE I can say "great testing - you fu$^ing idiots". As an IT professional with 15+ years experience I find this very poor form by SE. How hard can it be to pick up these simple faults. On a positive note - I still think that this F/w is better than the last couple of releases. You can work around these little errors. But the average user will have problems if they are not wise to computing. In summary these are the bugs and improvements I have noticed in the R1A008 F/W:

Improvments:
- Faster Menus
- Improved Volume in Ear piece
- Faster zooming when viewing images
- No problems transferring files from P.C to MS(via USB cable)
_ Hour glass icons when viewing photos

Bugs:

-inability to xfer multiple files from MS to P.C.. i.e. Parameter is incorrect error messages when transferring from MS to P.C.
- Loss of access to MS in windows explorer when the above occurs.
- Still no improvement in hissing sound or cracking between songs.
- Phone froze when trying to zoom in on an photo taken by the phone before the update.
- Still can see background screen when launch Java apps that don't fill the screen.
_ There is still screen noise when rapidly going exiting from viewing a photo

If you don't want the annoying repeating animation, just rename splash.swf in the seus directory in anything .

Seems to work, but still trying to connect :-/

R1AA seems slightly better than previous versions but keep in mind that any software can have bugs. one nasty bug happened when i updated tho, i had numerous camera pictures on the MS that were rendered useless, they became just a blackscreen no matter what i did, and also one mp3 file that just couldnt be played back anymore.

can get to the same login screen by running the ma3platform.exe in the SUES folder on its own, if anyone else wants to play..
