What are the new features in R1KG001?
As I knew the Java engine, content version and text version are updated, but Camera and LCD software have not been changed.
What are the obvious changes in this version?
mwarner where are you?

I always update to the latest firmware as it always worths it despite having no thorough knowledge of what is improved inside the phone. The improvements may lay deep inside the firmware, unnoticeable by laymen and end-users, but does it really matter? SEUS has the firmware update for free. What we should do is just a simple effort, plug in our DCU-60 along with proper internet connection, wait a moment and voila we get the new firmware. There must be something in new R1KG001 though it's physically out of sight. I usually reported changes and my findings about firmwares updates because I found them--simply saw, experience and felt them, then posted them here based on my humble observations. As I'm not a programmer at all, indeed, I won't go to immense trouble digging deeper into Java language programs just to find out what happens. So guys, just update the phone. It may be the final firmware for our old K800i. We've reached the peak. We may get 'bored' with this toy as new products are already on their way. Look at K810i, P1 or even Nokia N95. Just feel it yourself people's reaction to the release of SEUS R1KG001 here in Esato. Frankly, it isn't that enthusiastic as the releases of R1ED and R1GB or R1JG. Why? Because of the stability we have now and as people have said bye-bye to K800i.

Don't have a shaky hand when pressing the camera button. Wait at least 1-2 second after capturing an image. It's a matter of techniques; the same thing is also the knowledge of how you update your phone. What you need is Google Search Engine with proper keywords and willingness to read, read and read. Good luck.

saeedri, it's all there if you even bother to read it. why are you behaving this way? what's your problem? we all start out as newbies in this matter, but most of us take the effort to read and research, not shout about like some kid throwing a tantrum. nobody here owes you anything, mate. so please, shut it and do some reading. go away if you don't like what's being said. good riddance, I say.
@yanosh
nice to know that the tracklisting for m4a has been sorted. that's been bugging me for quite some time already. thanks for the update, and do post any other findings. now, if only SEUS made R1K available for APAC...
