That's on the Droid and I suspect needs the phone to be rooted which the X10 isn't (yet)

There seems to be quite a few X10's on ebay just now from O2 users. Anyone know if O2 have branded it in any way either hardware or software wise such as startup / shutdown screens or an O2 icon in one of the menus?

the guys on xda are working on this phone so i see no reason to fret about the device getting rooted anytime soon ... itll happen you jsut have to wait, and want to forgo warranties (yikes!) but still i flashed my n900 yesterday and have the A8 runnin at 900mhz so im sure xda has everyones back.

Not an X10 owner, but have seen a couple of others complaining about the low sound volume as well on a Swedish forum, so you are definitely not alone. Not sure if it is HW or SW fault. Have you the latest SW which is supposed to be 1.0.16 ?

As it started being sold at the end of march/beginning april you can't expect a new firmware so soon.
