Noone is excited for the Xperia Walkman because they are always positioned as low end phones.
If it was a top end device on the other hand..with all of the usual Walkman features (noise cancellation, high quality amp etc) then that would be very interesting.

All brands portfolio has been leaked and there is no HTC Nexus device. So yes that leaves only Asus and Motorola.

Anyway I fail to understand why nobody is excited about the Xperia Walkman
I am excited

but I want a high-end walkman phone. 8mp AF, dual core 1.5GHZ, 1gb RAM, 4" whitemagic 720P screen - minimum specs.
For music, I want most if not all of the features as their walkman range, clear bass, clear audio plus FLAC support. and an amazing earphones. And if they can incorporate illuminating LED strip ala W980 on it, i'll be the 1st to buy it
I dont want a live with walkman or mix walkman phone. thats very low-end. time to level up. i strongly believe that a walkman phone with high-end spec, camera and amazing sound can kill the iphone

I myself am waiting for a new walkman phone! Maybe something with specs close to Xperia P, and with stereo speakers also. I don't know if there will actually be one to come (Randomuser said no), but I want something to replace my Live, one a bit higher up the ladder. By the way, whatever happened to a supposed WT23 (outed via a leaked UAprof) ?

Hmm VERY interesting on Nexus x5 (Samsung, Sony, LG ... who are the remaining two ASUS, most likely, Motorola ... meh).
If I should guess, then I would say HTC and Motorola. No surprises, though pretty obvious...

I hope it's the real deal Xperia Walkman that would revive the Walkman line, not some W8 or Live.
Anyway, I thought you said there wouldn't be a Xperia Nexus? Looks like Sony is going for an early surprise for late 2012.

With LTE now coming to the UK within weeks I'm awaiting a good LTE device from Xperia. Is there one even on the horizon?

Must say the J looks better than the T.

I hope that one brings the new launcher, folder icon, walkman and album apps and all the rest features from the XS ICS update. If it doesn't, it's not worth updating.
