Hey guys, is a single 1GB laptop ram cheaper than 2*512 MB ones? I will get 1*1GB then, but will it run in dual channel mode? I would love to leave one slot free

@whizzy : its always better to hav 2 * 512MB cards.. they perform better than 1 card.. so if u can invest in an extra slot, it'd be great

Whizz, I feel...1 GB ain't enoff & sooner or later U R bound 2 upgrade 2 1.5 or 2 GB...if U ve a slot free then U won't ve the need 2 sell/xchange which's always a lit' less than the original price...but if U ve 2X512MB than U'll either ve 2 sell both (if Ur going in 4 2GB) or atleast 1 while upgrading & will definatly workout more expensive. BTW, whats the VRAM in that 6120 GFX CARD ??? I hope already U know that U need atleast 128MB VRAM 2 make most of the games 2 start...not look good & all, just run...Even Splinter Cell 2 (2004) won't run it U don't ve atleast a 128 MB VRAM...remember, m not talking abt Double Agent but the 1 be4 Chaos Theory...Pandora 2moro.

Airtel ve been a total bummer the last week...MO was down in the whole of B'bay. I ve not been able 2 download & I can hardly surf
Can't activate ne of the BB services as M leaving on the 16th...so I guess I will ve 2 spent less time on the net till I come back...thats arround the 1st of March & will get me a proper, fast & UL BB then...either the MTNL or the Hathway.
I ve this page book marked & will follow the current discussion abt diff services be4 deciding...so long & do miss me
will pop'in as & when I can.
