Ah, but PC Companion told me that there was a newer FW version so I'm now wondering what it will be updated to.

Fantastic!

Timescape is fast, handy and very nice to look at and does what it sets out to do effortlessly. In my opinion Timescape makes a huge difference - it works well, is enjoyable to use and adds a a nice bit of eye-candy to the phone. It brings back some of the 'wow factor' that has been missing from SE phones of late and it is both useful and practical. This is what will set it apart from other Android phones (and the 8MP of course).

I think it does a better job than Mediascape although I have yet to upload all my media to really put Mediascape through it's paces.

Nothing seems too difficult to do on the phone. The screen is spectacular and the interface is a breeze. I've still lots to get to grips with but I'm enjoying doing so.

The phone itself feels very solidly built and feels weighty in the hand, giving a good quality feel.

Browsing the internet is lightning fast, the browser is good and coupled with a good 3G connection it really moves along.

@goldenface & whoever else is listening and can answer

What's the keyboard like? I read it's not so great. Also, the SMS input not available in landscape mode, is that right still? I could wait till the weekend when I get mine (which is probably gathering dust now) but I can't wait!

Saw an interesting post about the keyboard here

@Ricky D

SMS input is available in Landscape mode, I just checked. The keyboard overall seems to be OK. I'm coming from a C905 so nothing really to compare with.

I never had any such problems with my keyboard - it seemed to work fine. So I guess the answer is to update your phone ASAP.

Baseband 1.0.16
Build No RIFA016

I updated over the weekend to ...16 and it certainly better on the battery, I was finding the battery was being very erratic on ....14, would last about 6 hours standby and be totally drained.

I totally agre the battery i better, and i also think the talk voice i louder. Itīs the best Se-phone i have had so far. No bugs so far:) And this make me wonder when SE update it to 2,X how good will it then be? Good work Se
