Thanks for the info so far, great job!

2 questions;

- do you expect another flagship this year (the Pro with OLED screen)? If yes, will it also follow Ambient design?
- will XZ2Premium or its succesor be able to record 4K@60 fps HDR video?

I expected another flagship after XZ2P, but the release time? IDK, and I cant making any statement...

4K 60fps, yes the XZ2 series can, just need an software unlock, for various reason they locked that due to problems with SteadyShot EIS....

Would you like to see XZ2P in Green? That would look beautiful...

Do you think Sony will update the XZ2 series so it supports 4K@60 fps and with HDR?

Do you know if Sony will start offering in screen FPS this year?

I often read articles of DPReview.
I have seen a lot guys comment that pixel size does not matter.
The important is sensor size, ISO , shutter speed and software.

If you set same ISO and SS, XZ2 can do better than S9 in low light.
Even with 1.22 against 1.4 micron.

Years ago HTC used to have 2.0 micron and failed.
Also they went from 1.55 to 1.4 for u11.

pixel size matters, it's not only factor though as you said, otherwise they can put 30+ mpx monochrome sensor with 1 um pixels...
htc ultra pixel phone has just 4 mpx, you cant compete with the detail even if the pic has no noise....

From the press release pdf file
"Bokeh and monochrome features will be available 3rd Quarter 2018. Software rollouts are a phased process"
Ummm ok...
I don't mind the phone I might get it was hoping for 128gb internal memory(will use 256 and 400gb memory card anyways , eh what can you do about the headphone jack.

Don't mind the screen aspect ratio was hoping for as other people said 5.9 or 6 inch display

Curious on battery life if it's like xz2 I'm pretty happy with that

Hmm either wait IFA see what's available then make choice between xz2 premium or the the 'pro'/whatever is next this year
