I just flashed the ROM this afternoon .... you shoulda seen the clutter before the cleanup
@whiz....as i said ...its an MS site which will install an activex control for the scan....so IE6 reqd.....dont tell me Compaq didnt give you IE6

I had Norton 06 installed.. Crappy thing slows down the system like hell and i had problems with internet access...
I will leave the system unprotected till I get a better option
..Not that ive used any antivirii in the past...
