Why would they go back to R1CZ999 it would be more logical to go up.

It seems like it. I'm giving up. I'll take another look when people say "The new firmware is out!". It's really starting to be a waist of time.
I've also e-mailed SE for an update and they couldn't tell me anything.

Don't believe in this info. It dosen't make any sense. Ok maybe true that the R1EA031 isn't a real deal. But we arent going back to R1C. I'm still with Mizzle about that R3A, or any other think. And yes i think Sony Ericsson is still close to launch a new Firmware. this or next week. Or maybe the release the R1EA031 on SEUS for the unbranded that don't have any update since a long time ago, and after release the major R3A that is going to change icons and etc like the new C902 style.. like Mizzle said

On FW 029 I´ve had allmost every bug You can name here. I did update to FW 037 and that doesn´t help at all.
Then they reflashed my phone at service, again to FW 037 and solved, pretty much, all problems.
Maybe battery is a bit weak (last for 2-3 days) and sometimes i get flashburns and misstiming, thats all.
Equalizer keeps manual settings, java apps & games works. No volume probs. No lags. I´m pretty happy with my K850i for now. I´ll wait with next update, until We know all new issues
My advice - go to service center and reflash your phone there.
