Not qualifying for the World Cup must be a very painful experience for Nigerian soccer lovers...keep faith though...their is light at the end of the tunnel.

@Ihe: Jail 2 much na. Well, expect a tough Nations Cup because all the big boys who missed out on the World Cup qualification will want to compensate with winning the Nations Cup.

@AYA: Where is MB to intimate us with what this GPRS exhibition is all about. Glo should do the right thing; slash GPRS charges.
What's up with Gosmartmobile?

I aint bothering myself with Glo's GPRS exhibition. There isnt anything they are going to demonstrate that I haven't practiced at one time or the other.

About GoSmartMobile.com, there are some changes lined up. You will be able to see them and read all about it online by tomorrow night

By the way, my Starcomms connection now works. I called Data Support again earlier today. This time, the guy who spoke with me seemed more in the know. He asked some key questions and after I had answered all correctly, he politely asks to put me on hold, and disappears for what was a rather long time. When he came back on the line he asks me to try "reconnecting now" and to call back if I had any problems. I hung up and got a connection right away.

These people.... Obviously, it was this afternoon they just activated me. Abi?

@Aya,I dont blame my guys at Glo.They must have noticed d reduction in glo gprs users.D only thing is tht they r going about it d wrong way. @brym,methink tht jail is d only language those ppl 'll understand & 'll serve best as deterrent. This message was posted from a Nokia

@brym, wish i cld do as u asked. The truth is it's too late to shift blames. Let's support our African brothers who are Germany bound. Just hope they do us proud.
The thing is, how long will Nigeria continue to depend on luck? Every WC qualificatn, we pray for a last minute miracle wn we've not earned it.
@AYA, congrats. Ur story didnt end like dt of those dt have SC woe tales.

I had one interesting experience today, but you guys will have to wait another day to hear it. But the whole thing just showed me how pathetic things are and how far we really are from real development in this part of the world.

i think glo has set a date for their exhibition, oct 10 -15 , i think and it is only in the V.I gloworld. Is the mtn gprs still workin cos i havent gotten a connection via wap/modem in like 4 weeks or more now. i'm back to using my glo for wap, is it a location thing cos i'm in sagamu. cos i remember in their promo they said it was restricted to lag, ph and abuja. But it used to work here , all of a sudden my attached gprs signal is permanently unattached.

Hi all, seems no one missed my absence. Well I was away as a result of MTN GPRS failure around my house. I notice I have full gsm signal at home, but no gprs. As soon as I step out of the house, and walk 10 meters in a particular direction, the thing just springs back. Immediately I make a turn in the direction of my house, zap it goes. I could have sworn that my house was marked by mtn for excessive use of its free gprs, but by the special grace of God, gprs is back. I missed you guys o.
Has anyone noticed that vmobile gprs has been off for three days?
@Aya: what gives? lets have the gist now, you never know what could happen to our connection by tomorrow.
@Coola: congrats on your pc/mobile modem configuration. You no send me free mms again o. I go pm you my mtn number.
