seeing some ppl say bugs in transferrin from phone mem to pc, i think i will sit and wait for everyone's opinion on that bug and some other listed bugs, as i have had no problem in transfer using R1N035, so i will just wait anyways i haven't installed the new seus update yet, cheers to all havin the new firmware and others also waiting for the upgrade, i wont be updating for the time being.

i dunno about you guys... dont rush into things will yah... just like ive said.. wait till the dust settles then off you go. since everyone is into this upgrade. surely any server with some gigabyte bandwidths can be clogged especially if more than half the world access that server. wot am pointing here is... all of the reviews with the said new FW is still raw. we havent heard much about the in & outs... just keep yer pants on... and dont forget, once you have this new FW, theres no turning back except with DVT and other 3rd party software. so be sure you review all the pros and cons before jumping to it... and cursing SE in the process... that aint fair...

All very interesting. Yesterday when I tried to update with SEUS2 I kept getting server busy errors. But Eventually it worked. Despite the new bug with transferring from the phone I'd rather have R1AA008 than R1N just for the increased volume in the earpiece. And for those doubters - there really is a big bug when transferring from the phone!!! It is pretty poor that this bug has gone one step further by causing the phone to reset when transferring from phone memory. This is the most unforgiving part of this f#$k up. I have a complaint in with SE that has been escalated to a "case Manager" - I can't wait to talk to him/her. People using the digital camera features of the phone will be even more annoyed as transferring pics from the phone is going to be a pain in the arse until a fix comes around. I think SE are going to be overloaded with calls after Xmas when people find out that their gift is buggy.

@ szuwx
I haven't updated my phone yet but the pic's quality in R1A should not differ from R1N's, since in both F/W the camera's SW is 4.5.
@ Those who have succesfully updated
Could someone plz post the Jbenchmark results with the new F/W
@ SE
F**k you with ur F**ed server.

A note to MWARNER - perhaps you should update the 1st page to include the bugs in this F/W. It is a bit misleading to state that MS Duo bug has been fixed - it hasn't, it has simply been reversed. Also, mention the failures in transferring from phone memory and the resets.

wait up wait up! the MS duo is actually been fixed... and it hasnt been reversed. please do not jump into conclusions, maybe this reversive MS duo bug is not actually with the new FW. maybe we have done sumthin that might have triggered this dilemma (before the update, hardware settings etc etc.) because others doesnt experience this including me and for the others that i have updated myself. so lets not generalized and put further weight with this new FW.
agen i think this thread is a serious one, so if you dont have any important things to say but nag, then shut yer crap and contribute with the findings of those concerned people that want to make this new FW work. so lets not flood this with bogus info and emotional tantrums that dont help much.
i rest my case.....

No transfer bugs or resets here ... I can copy anything from PC to Phone and also from Phone to PC ... (even large files [200MB+], and also lots of flies [60+, 200MB+]), no problems with transfering even to/from phone memory.
