my condolences to you thuggie.
@alibaba, u think the 6400 is heavy, i got the 9400 with the 17inch screen. try opening that on a flight and get weird looks frm fellow passengers

I recommended XPS because its small, light & yet powerful. But yes d screen is small. But i think that's an affordable trade-off if u r not into 24x7 movie watchin n gamin...
XPS without vid card n 9cell battery has excellent battery life too. Now, if u r a road warrior dats wat u need!
On the other hand if wat u want is a complete desktop replacement, with large n wide screen, of course yes go 4 d bigger one....
