Hooray!

My P990i should be arriving tomorrow from Voda!

I hope its still the unbranded batch.
And that I can get my O2 SIM to work in it until my number gets ported on the 11th. Voda sales bloke said it might or might not work, and suggested I could visit an unlock shop to sort out that little problem!

Keep at them mate, plus if you dont get what you want hang up and phone again. I could only bargin it down to £60 for the phone and £40 line rental.i wasnt happy so I rang up the next day and got straight through to a women higher up at vodafone who could authorize better deals, she gave me it for £30 with £30 knocked off my first bill and 500 anytime mins with 250 texts for £35 inc vat!
so my first bill is a fiver!

Got mine today and was planning to port from O2. They took no billing info from me at all, except my address and that I passed the credit check. All they said was give us your PAC number and we will arrange for the sim to be activated. Surely they should have taken direct debit details at point of sale?

The phone is not so good, so it is going back tomorrow.

what's wrong with it that within 24 hours it's going back?

@GuyH,

I have had to take the battery out 4 times today and it has had 1 auto-restart. Also O2 have offered a great deal, which I have to take seriously. I do like the phone and assume I might just have a more volatile one. Also I can never seem to find a sales assistant who can cut a deal as strong as some bragged about on these forums.

Are Vodafone P990's still coming unlocked and unbranded? Orange are still sitting on their hands, and I'm fed up with it.
