works fine for me in FC. You're doing something wrong if not.

How about NOT getting on with this jog dial just because it there!

In flip closed, do the 'old fashion way': >*
NO matter what happens on-screen, just do the above combination! > means the pressing of the Right Side of the 'joystick pad' in the middle of the phone upper buttons!

Happy Service Menu..ing!

That's really interesting. I definitely can't access the service menu in FC mode. It used to work before the last update but had not tried since, FO mode is OK. I know I'm not doing anything wrong because I've done it before.
When I do the combination for the service menu in FC mode, the screen slightly dims and the middle and left button options disappear from the status bar and that's all no matter how long I wait.

I've noticed that using Swiss Manager Pro stops the service menu from working in FC mode. (It has always been that way for me, even with the old R3 firmware.) To make it work again, you'll have to restart (without starting SMP). I don't remember if it happens directly after SMP is started, but SMP is the culprit.
You can still get to the service menu in FC by opening it in FO and then closing the flip, so it's not that big a deal...

Also, when it comes to using the jog wheel in the sequence, you should only turn it one "click", no more, no less.

Thanks, SMP was the culprit. Just exiting SMP doesn't help either, you have to reboot the phone. Both the jog dial and the other method now works in FC mode.
