In the video it looks like hes trying to do something, maybe play a song, but its taking him too long?

I think towards the end of the movie clip (between seconds 50-60), he tries to push the touch-sensitive button under the screen, to skip songs. If you look closely, you can see that the song title changes on the screen, so this is successful. At first, it looks as if it doesn't work indeed, but by looking closely, you can see the song has been skipped successfully.

Well, i took that pic, zoomed in and circled the things I believe are volume
Those are the power button and the play/pause button. no volume controls are on the unit nor are there any next/prev track buttons.
