Seriously though, what's the point of that lens cover when it's actually behind that plastic glass?
That's funny. Plastic Glass.
I see a plastic metal there!
Btw, it was mentioned that the screen uses a scratch-proof glass. It wouldn't be surprising if they used a similar technology as well.

first of all i am speculating already before that if this phone got a QVGA @ 30Fps video it means that this phone got a powerful CPU/GPU. since

W900 was the only SE phone to have QVGA @ 30Fps video... so i am wondering whether this phone have Nvidia GoForce video chip(more likely the newer 5500 chip) to achieve the fine video recording.

dunno, this phone (the back) reminds me of an old pic I had drawn for the rumours section.
Also for the battery, sim and M2/microSD port cover, wich is similar as in Sony digital cameras...

Nice one mcrosser, you should work for
Just a couple of questions, especially for thecoolsha or xumdeo
1. How is the availability of colurs?? Will be like K800 80-90% black and 10-20% brown?? I really hope it will be 50-50, cause I like much better the velvet blue and it seems that the green one will be the main colour
2. Is there any improve about Xenon Flash + Bestpic?? I mean when you take 9 pics, does it flash 9 times or it's disabled as on K800??
Thanks in advanced

now that there is no battery cover as such, the whole back is one piece, lets hope this prevents creaks from happening like they do on standard covers, ie, k800 cover....
also, im just trying to picture in me head how it would look if the green/blue trimming around the phone lit up a little, not too bright though. it would either look good, or just really bad... i wouldnt mind seeing it like that

i think they'll release it 50-50 cause the brown is the limited edition 1... and this blue is stated in official site

SanDisk microSD™/Transflash™
This does not sound right. MS duo and micro is what SE phones support.
Their (SE) Japanese counterpart is already supporting two formats. It's a very nice and welcomed surprise here.
Since SE invested SOOOOO much in the M2 & Sandisk in making the standard for them, I'm sure it was compatible all along, just the connector locking mechanism was different (keyed). I'm willing to bet that the M2 goes in on 1 side while the MicroSD goes into another. I'm also thinking SE realized that MicroSD previous phone owners had to consider switching formats increasing not so much price from MicroSD > M2 but more so availability!
I think we should be MORE focused - on this part of the news - as to WHICH offers the best Read/Write benefits and future capacity!
FYI: TransFlash was ORIGINALLY considered a slightly NON-REMOVABLE storage FLASH proprosal to manufacturers so that in production line they could quickly SWITCH to increase FLASH memory. Motorola was the first to bite!

Does anybody know if the K850 supports flash themes like the T650?

i just wanna check something..
i like SE handsets, they're great on a (price/value ratio ) basis.
but the thing is, with the unveiling of this flagship cybershot K800 heir, i just didn't feel the hype at all.
i mean, i was using T630
K700 came, it was really great
K750, Oh boy, what a success..
K800, mmm more or less..
K850, 5mpx, ok i'll take that, but !!!!! no hype !!!!
i hope you know what am i trying to implicate, as if the overall hype about the K heirs, is always decreasing (right after the K750 peak )
