@masseur:

Battery power - (Turn off backlight if device is not used for 30 sec) is checked

External power - (Turn off backlight if device is not used for 1 min) is checked

hmmm, well that sounds normal, I have 1 min and 3 mins and it all works fine

I know tomtom keeps the backlight on regardless so I wonder if you have that running in the background or perhaps some other app that is causing this problem?

@masseur: I`ve found a discussion about this but it`t not for kaiser. The problem is that "power" does not exist in HKCU in kaisers registry. I dont know what to do... I know it must be some application causing this but surely there must be a fix..

If anyone finds anything please reply.

Masseur,

Coming off the 838pro, I find it a bit awkward sliding the Kaiser keyboard which is opposite of the 838pro. Why did HTC change this good point of the 838pro. Other than that the Tytn II (as it is known in this part of the world - SE Asia) truly deserves its numero uno ranking given by the PPC mag award.

I have no idea why they changed it to slide the other way but I can only assume its something to do with the new spring loaded tilt mechanism

on my first day with it I did keep trying to slide the other way but after that I never gave it another thought

Quick question...

just noticed yesterday that the left hand side of my phone has started making a slight clicking noise and moves up and down quite a bit. It seems as if the sliding mechanism is a bit loose. Its no big deal but is just a bit annoying as it doesnt feel that solid anymore. Have only had the phone about 2 weeks.

Has anyone else had this happen to their tytn II?

This bugs me every time I have to pull out the stylus after opening the keyboard.

Hi!

I used a W950i with a stylus, but after the second time of using my TyTn II forgot the difference.

Does anyone here use a desktop stand/charger? If so, which one?

I have seen some on different sites but wondered what people used here.
