Can anyone say if it will be possible to update the G900 to UIQ 3.3?
It should be possible since the G702 has almost the same hardware platform as the G900 right?

If the update for G900 to UIQ 3.3 is possible then it'll be also possible for older UIQ 3 phone users to upgrade/modify their OS to it. this might also help those helpless-but-still-loyal P990/W950/M600 get rid of their RAM issue as this version gives them demand paging

Hello

Please can you tell me someone who has G900 if it is possible to play java games (which are for ordinary phones with screen 320x240 like K850 and so on) on this phone despite of it lacks the two physical functional buttons and man must touch on display for some menu of the game? Are there any problems with it? If there are, so are problems in every game, or there are some exceptions?

My girlfriend likes java games and she has some favourites and she would´t like to give up them...

Thank you for your answers

Welcome to you.

You're supposed to get two soft- buttons on the screen- edge, and that works as well as the physical buttons in games, really.

(The problem with the soft- buttons on the screen is that the phone unlocks when you're being called to, so if you have the phone in your pocket, the buttons are a bit easier to push than the physical buttons on the other phones...

So until Sony Ericsson gets their asses in gear and fixes that problem..)

A 2.4 screen is of course not bad, but insufficient for a UIQ phone imo.

That's exactly what I used thought before I actually used G700 and G900... But IMO they are better optimized for finger touch use than previous UIQ phones...

Also, these two phones have a D-Pad, back and 'c' keys and navigation keys (touch on G900) as well... So using the touchscreen is not a necessity but an option...
