Yes its possible, depending what your main email account is IMAP or POP you can also set ME to check your account.

When you are in MAIL, look to the top right of the screen and next to the power button there is a GEAR WHEEL click on that and you there.

Bringing up some apps on iphone 3g is a bit slower than on iphone but yu gotta love that 3g!
When I played with one on Friday I noticed that the screen had a bit of friction to it. Was that just because it was new and didnt have enough finger grease yet?

It did not say on advertisment what phones they were giving it away with. Yes its normally crap ones but it was Orange Shop advertisment not someone else. Not sure which giga byte version either probably the 8giga byte.

Well looking through E-Bay there are quite a few 3G iPhones for sale both Black and White 16GB with buy it now prices of around $750.
Obviously some people are using there upgrades @$199 and keeping there V1 iPhones to use and selling the 3G's to make money.
There are a couple of links saying the Dev team have cracked the 3G iPhone and will release Pwnage for it in a few days time.
Which i suppose looks good for when 02 eventually release them on PAYG.

I think in the UK definatley its worthwile taking out the contract as nowhere else will you get unlimted data + wifi aswell as decent number of mintues and texts.
