Updates have slowed since september to a halt. Has SE given up on this phone and left it riddled with bugs?

I think it could be because that was the last time there was c902 production, i just bought mine (last one:D) and it was made in sepetember. There arnt any in stock in any shops in Leeds so i would imagine when they start producing some more there will be a new firmawre.
Just a guess

Sony Ericsson has released for operator testing a new software update for some of it’s phones. The phones in question are the C902i, W595i, W760i, W980i. This software is currently being tested by O2 Ireland and Sony Ericsson. The software version is labeled R3EA031. In addition to basic fixes to the phone software, we are also changing some of the O2 Ireland specific elements. Specifically we plan on updating the music link to point at the new O2 Tunes music service and adding some RSS links of Irish interest. Our current schedule with Sony Ericsson is to have the R3EA031 software update ready for customers by the end of the month.
In addition to the phones mentioned above there is also a software update scheduled for release by Sony Ericsson for the C905i at the beginning of February. We plan on having that tested and approved for O2 Ireland customers the same week as it is available.
I hope that this makes things a little clearer and as the software is approved by O2, we will let you guys know

just updatedd my C902 using the phones update service, very handy service and only took about ten minutes and i did not need to back up anything. previous version was the original release version now updated to R3DA030. phone is locked to three network in Ireland. screen appears very dark after update although it was dark before it seems even darker now and hard to view some photos
