@Moogoo,
What about Sony Stores?
They should at least pick it up.

It looks like it is going to be a sad story for those of us that want the Z1 in the US. From what I have heard so far T-Mobile is picking up the Z1 and the LTE model is most likely going to be T-Mobile exclusive. Just like the Z LTE. Sony will sell the C6902 model online but the LTE might not be sold unlocked.

If that's true, than my option will only be importing it. Not like I cared for warranty anyway since I've been buying grey market phones all these years.

As far as I know there will be no Z2 at CES. Only a few smaller devices. Z2 is planned for H2 2014.

@Dacha - how sure are you on that information? that seems like a kick in the balls but would explain why it hasn't been updated on the sony mobile website. stupid tmobile! if that is true, they should announce it already so i can make a proper decision to import it.

@smclion102 yeah, you're right, actually MWC makes a bit more sense... but in the other hand CES is a bigger show then MWC if i'm not wrong, so who knows really...

@moogoo

Both of my sources are usually very accurate. One source said that T-Moblie is picking up the Z1 and the other one said that they were in talks. Basically that tells me that T-Mobile is getting it unless something goes wrong like last year with AT&T and the Z. There is always the possibility that T-Mobile get the Z1 and Sony still can sell the unlocked Z1 LTE online.
The Z1 should release in early October in the US and pre-orders should start about two weeks before release. Unless it becomes a mess like the Z release on T-Mobile.

anyone notice on one of the white papers that the USB was listed as USB3, USB3 has been around for quite some time now and would be a good improvement in transfer times

Which one is this? I've went through the white paper from SONY Germany and I see nothing with USB3 or USB 3.0.
