I believe they are referring to the size of the screen not being the norm and therefore programs may not fit full screen... not the actual quality of the display...

Yes I'm getting more interested too in X1 the more I see of the UI.
I just feel
needs to make the various parts of the UI blend better together. Like for example, this part of the UI got brushed metal feeling but the media panel got light blue background?
If both had brushed metal feeling it would be a nicer user experience.
( OMG I can't believe I just wrote "user experience" >.< )
