Just a word of warning to 3 customers in the UK.
SEUS allowed me to update my K800 to the KG firmware.
All looked good but there is a problem that the menu.ml file is corrupted and as a result the camera fails to operate.
Used Wotan to reurn it to the JE firmware and all is fine.
I reflashed just to check and faced the same problem.
3 customers take care using SESU!
Just tried it with a K800i on 3-UK and I get the same error now and the camera does not function...
On the first time you try and enter the menu you get the following error:
"Errors occur in the menu.ml file. This may render the menu unusable"
I am a little bit annoyed as this must be a SEUS error, I would imagine a corrupt file in the update...
Now how do we get this sorted...

Looks like it flashed the 3-UK W850 firmware onto my phone, as it shows WALKMAN where the 3-Player (Music Player on non-branded) and when I tried to backup the phone contents it was identified as a W850i under Windows...
I have fixed with Wotan, but Sony's mistake has put me out of pocket

I've been reading many posts regarding SEUS failure recently. Mostly the incomplete updating, like being stuck at 98% and suddenly it went back to Start, which left the phone unusable. Perhaps we should send emails to SE? Nothing we can do as the EULA we were promted before running SEUS said at least 'No guarranty is available..bla..bla..SE isn't responsible for the damage..bla..bla'...SEUS is presented as it is..bla..bla..bla..'
So the best way is avoiding SEUS for some time. There will be a new release in a few days to go. Check Downtime on

Hope it'll solve the problems.

There's also a new EROM version as well R3A022
Is the new EROM R3A022 obtainable via SEUS too? How could it be possible as SEUS didn't even upgrade old buggy EROM R3A011 to R3A016 in the past as there was no way to hold 2 plus 5 during the process..

Oh, no. That's a serious mistake. It seems SEUS has to work hard to identify each phone CDA as many more phones are listed there.

I'm on O2.
Anyone know whats new in this release?
Major improvement is the updated Java version to 7.4 with Never Ask option under Permission-Read Write User Data with all Java games and applications. That stops annoying confirmation pops up. However, when you activate date/time stamp on your 3 MP camera, it will take around 5-20 seconds in saving the shot, depending on the size of the file resulted. That's awful.

@rahulraj
No, I'm afraid there is no free independently-done-at-home way to reflash the phone in this case, except SESC itself which may take days and weeks or even months to do so, at least based on my experience here in Indonesia. That's why I asked a help of a friend having a Paypal access to buy some Wotan credits for me. You can do the same to revive the phone. Good luck.

I just had another K800 delivered from O2 for my mother. This was a Concrete Silver model K800 with O2 branding. When I checked the firmware it was R1KG001 and EROM was R3A022.
Have checked on Wotanserver and they do not have the new EROM either.

AFAIK, EROM can't be installed that easily neither via SEUS nor WotanServer or else. Look at Rookwise's EROM string. It doesn't mention the word WILMA anymore as most K800i does. It has the same EROM as K810i. Exactly. That's not a big problem..the new K800i products are with this new EROM. It's just a matter of product improvement I guess.
