I had a T650 that wasn't scratch proof. i had a scratch down the middle of the screen. It's only scratch resistant, it is more durable than a regular screen and it keeps off the annoying little abrasion marks but you shouldn't put it in your back pocket with keys and sit on it.

The K850i lens cover was plastic, and had nothing to do with Mineral Glass.
The K850i and T650i both incorporated the new Mineral Glass Scratch Resistant screen. Neither are 'scratch proof', and they are both exactly the same type.
The link you have shown Plank, is simply someone posting incorrect information. Easy as that. The official Sony Ericsson specs show this.
It is resistant to scratches, but to what degree is unclear. A lot of people struggled with scratches on it, so it really isn't that much better than a 'normal' screen.
Anyway, anyone got the Phone yet?
