Is this something we should be excited about? I guess yes based on your comments thus far.
Is this excitement regarding only aesthetics, or specs too?
Have we already heard of the device you are hinting at?
Should we expect to see it at IFA? Your statement about 2 weeks would possibly put it after IFA.
There we go, some nice generic questions where you would not have to give away specifics. Now IF you want to go into details then by all means. If you can't then please answer the above questions
Primarily aesthetics. And where did I state 2 weeks? "A couple" can also mean "several"

And in this case, it does. Might even be several months, so don't get tooooo excited yet
Thanks, that's definitely a comprehensive list! Past, present and a little bit future

Well, I'm not planning to upgrade at this moment anyways and am hoping for some amazing phones at CES so if whatever you're talking about isn't due until then, I can live with it.
So let's see here, we've got new flagship phones, a new tablet and new TVs including an 84" 4k monster. Sony is going to have a pretty damned nice IFA

LMAO! hilarious.
Hey guys ... wondering if Sony will ever use Xenon Flash again in a top tier product? why did SE stop using it anyway?

While I don't know the official answer, I would guess it has to do with power consumption, the space it takes up in the phone, and maybe they felt that the CMOS sensors were advanced enough in low light situations that they might not always need them.
I too would love to see a xenon flash in a Sony phone again and I'm hoping that with the tech sharing between all their departments, they might decide to do it again.
