Take a look at this interview with someone high up in Microsoft (in 3 parts): http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/k6PMR15jrq6h8tJldt
He talks (eventually) about WMnext, he has it running on a Samsung Blackjack, says that the UI is going to undergo a major upgrade, and hints it should be released some time after Q1 2009, for those interested.

Actually it's not a blackjack, but the i780.

How do we get to part 2 and 3? He doesn't even talk about WMnext in part 1 other than to say he's not gonna talk ab out it!

Well atleast you know the difference, but "w" is a three syllable word, whereas "y" is a one syllable word?

But if you say it I'll take your word for it. No offence intended

That UI looks quite like the SPB Mobile shell UI

Is there a map as to which place will be crippled (in terms of frequencies) since most of us are going to order from the UK and so we're going to have the X1i and it has UTMS / HSDPA / HSUPA 900/1900/2100 MHz whereas the X1a has UTMS / HSDPA / HSUPA 850/1900/2100 MHz and from what I read on the thread, AT&T offers 900MHz frequencies.

would that mean that we can still use the X1i in the US on the 1900/2100 frequency?
argh, all these frequency things are making me confused. >_
We can still use 3G with AT&T on the X1i right? and T-Mobile Edge with the X1i as well right?

Great looking interface! it does looks like touch FLO 3D, but is closer to the Asus touch UI found in P552w imo. imagine having those UIs on the nine active panels of X1.
