@goldenface

Just figured out the SE service thing - it sent my old W960 stuff to the SE site and then I synched it All looking very sexy. Screen seems a little dark - maybe I need to get used to it. My bro just called me and the speaker seemed a little meh but I have no gripe - I heard him fine.

I didn't seem to get one of those clear screen thingies - never mind, the pouch will do for now.

Have you all noticed that the X10 already comes with a screen protector on it. Of course NOT the generic film thats on all new phones. but it has a true extra screen protector in box unused and one already applied to the screen. Some people have been removing this. This is a pretty interesting post.

Btw, how to upgrade the firmware without using the wireless option?

Install the PC Companion that comes with the phone and it will tell you instantly if there is an update available

Thanks goldenface.

And I agree that this phone is a class ahead than other se phone. The built quality is top notch.

Tranced,

I agree but its just a screen protector like one u would buy normally and once its off its just the bare mineral sratch proof glass screen. So for people here who are talking about puting on a screen protector when u get your X10 dont do it otherwise you would have two on and your screen responsiveness will decrease b/c SE has alrdy perfectly installed one for us. If you look close.ly at your device you can see it.

The people removing it claim the screen response better! The only way i would remove mine is if few months down the road the SE installed protect start showing age then I will take it off and then install the extra one in the box. But im pretty good with my devices so I dont forsee it happening

It's understood what you said here. Then we would end up blaming because the unresponsive screen when we already put a new layer on the screen making it more difficult to response to our fingers.

Tranced,
Exactly! So please remeber that when u get yours and everyone else out there. No need to double up protection on the X10 she wont get pregnant.
