hello whizkid,
this is regardng the issue posted by druk75, reg the k700i with o2 settings.i'm his wife .

well, when i try to connect to gprs, it shows as "connecting" for a very long time and then nothin' seems to happen...

@smart - Even with a branded phone, if we enter new settings, it should be able to connect, i dont know why it doesnt for you Check the settings, you can get them free via sms from the SE website

@whiz - there are other married couples on Esato, eg-IngFjok and his wife (cant remember her name )

@smart - If it doesnt bother you, you dont need to get it unbranded. However upgrading to the latest firmware does require you to unbrand your handset, since latest O2 firmware is not available in India, only in O2 service centres.
