well, when i try to connect to gprs, it shows as "connecting" for a very long time and then nothin' seems to happen...

@smart - Even with a branded phone, if we enter new settings, it should be able to connect, i dont know why it doesnt for you
Check the settings, you can get them free via sms from the SE website
@whiz - there are other married couples on Esato, eg-IngFjok and his wife (cant remember her name
)

Yup. What about mikLSP? And his technique of free communication when free sms was over? Smart, you should be able to create a new profile, not necessarily changing the built in one.

@smart - If it doesnt bother you, you dont need to get it unbranded. However upgrading to the latest firmware does require you to unbrand your handset, since latest O2 firmware is not available in India, only in O2 service centres.
