@Lemmy31 I get notifications on LED for all that seems odd. As for screen I think it looks dull ish on the standard wallpaper if you change it to a more colourful one you can see the difference. Nokia has had image quality issues on early software too not just Sony.

Thanks for the help guys. I wasn't getting the notification light for my Gmail but my Exchange email for work was fine. Ive just restarted the phone and all seems good now.

i'm totally sold on that wooden case, but what about the front? it's exposed... i'm not a fan of film protectors to say the least and they are useless against drops. does extra slim wooden folder case exists in the world? one that protects the front as well,
would look pretty unique, i would buy it.
