I'm on the Island, and mtn gprs is up and running though data transfer is very slow.
I also noticed the haze this morning, but its cleared now.
@2Tek: are you still having connection problems? pm me with your number and I'll call you and walk you thru the setup process. just make sure you have the comm suite installed on your pc.
@Aya: is ur multilinks line still working? I'll call you tonite I get small biz 4 you.

Its funny that when MTN is working well with me, you guys either dont have signal or cannot get a connection, and vice versa. I've been connecting easily and downloading since yesterday.
@Aya: I think you are having problems with MTN gprs lately because of upgrades or service extension. I noticed yesterday on my way to Ibadan, that from the old toll gate till I got to Ibafo, there was gprs signal, but I could not get a connection. After Ibafo I could connect and browse till I got to the Redemtion camp. From the camp up to Ogere signal was present, but no connection.
This could be what 2Tek has been experiencing. Last week when I went to Ibadan, service terminated immediately after Berger. So it seems MTN is expanding. Bear with them.

Right here in Abuja, i can categorically say mtn has been steady. Downloading speed has improved, wella.
Can't wait to get my lappy so i can enjoy d view of d www.
