k4m, do think the se serv centre wud be equiped to help us with the unbranding...?

'coz i was told by the serv centre that unbranding can not be done.

but the serv centre person told me he wud upgrade the software alright...

@smart - i'm not sure if they would be equipped for unbranding handsets since there are no branded handsets here in India. And i'm not sure it he can upgrade the firmware. If he can, well and good.
Coz the last time i went to ask the guys at the service center here in my place, they didnt know what unbranding means They didnt even understand what the word 'firmware' meant

actually got some terrific snaps of it ...shall try to upload..though i dont yet know how...
we weer right in the middle of it ...
we had water to our knees in the 1st 10 min...later slowly died out...that was all the damage actaully to male...
other islands (smaller) weere completly washed out

what about the setool.net.....dont they provide tools to unbrand?
maybe the serv centr should dwnload it and then do the unbranding ?
