That's a good sign. If it tends to drop that fast I think I'll get it before my bday. Although I'm thinking to last at least a year with my p1. That'll be like june 8th or so.

@tranced, I couldn't compare since I applied the 2nd sp quite immediately.
@lcrkz0023, I'm thinking to remove the 2nd one if I have guts.

I'm impressed that they've pre-applied a screen protector. It's something I was worried about doing myself as my previous efforts on previous phones have always had dust and bubbles under it and I'm not sure I can be bothered to find someone who can do it properly.
I'm looking forward to seeing if this video stand I got with mine is useful or just a gimmick and to see if the pouch is good quality, although, I bought a white leather slip case anyway.

@myp910...I dont blame u..i would be nervous too. In your case you may be better off leaving it cuz you would have to take off both cuz the adhesive side thats on top on the other would probably leave the finish on the SE SP sticky. Thats a tuff call, cuz if you take both off then u gotta put one on. Some ppl like it better w/o any tho.
RickyD.. i was impressed too and agree w/ everything u said. Btw, since u have the white the SE SP is alittle harder to see imo, just run your finger nail around the edges and look closely on the corner edges and sony logo and you will notice it. You'll notice a thin layer.

Hi, Is there a way to synchronize files without using internet on the phone? Could I do it with the USB connection to the PC
In my country, the EDGE support is yet to arrive for X10, I cant use 3G right now, So stuck without synching with my previous phone contacts and data.
I was using DS220 with W610 earlier, but I'm not able to pair it with X10 now. I have unpaired it from W610 and turned it off, still could not connect DS220 with X10. Has anyone here faced it too?

Hi all,
Been using the X10 for the last few days and it really is great. I really think SE have done well for themselves with this phone and hopefully will sell well for them. Build quality is excellent and i guess i was one of the lucky ones with a leather pouch, video stand and extra screen protector in the box. No MW600 but I don't mind. Plus, the video stand is actually very handy and useful...i keep it next to my laptop and it just acts much like a desktop charger then...plus the landscape rotation is great when its on the stand.
The interface is amazing, screen is very bright, clear and crisp....i was a little worried about the whole 65K colour thing but honestly, it doesn't make a difference and the screen really is that clear anyway....
I really like Timescape and Mediascape, Timescape a lot more than I thought I would. The only thing that I need to get used to is tapping on some buttons on Mediascape and sometimes the keyboard that didn't register. Had to tap them twice to register but overall, the screen is really sensitive and intuitive I think. Having just come over from a resistive touchscreen, I still have an urge to use anything else but my fingers to use the phone.
The only thing I have noticed whilst reading the threads on here is that my X10 is still baseband version 1.0.14 and no matter which method I try to update to 1.0.16 (PC Companion, Update Service, phone update) it always tells me the phone is up to date. So I'm still trying to see how to update to the new version and maybe that will improve on what I think is already one of the best phones SE has ever released and a real excellent phone overall. There's really nothing particularly wrong with this phone and the future updates can only make it better. So hopefully we can enjoy 2.1 on this phone soon! Plus it just looks absolutely awesome. It really is a beautiful phone.

What is everyone using to connect to their PC. PC Suite doesn't seem to be connecting. It finds the phone, attempts to install the drivers and then fails.

I'm having no luck updating mine either, perhaps it's just not ready to every language out there yet.
When texting, i have a bunch of messages from my gf, but the past two i've recieved, i do get a message, the LED is blinking, and it shows up in the notification area, but it's just not there?
Strange?

@ AndyD777
The phone is sim unlocked, from hong kong. After reading the post from ron, i think it could be that the update is not available for every language yet. Maybe the asian phones haven't got the update yet so hopefully this is coming soon.
Also, after a days use of mostly surfing the net, browsing on the market, transferring some bluetooth files and syncing, bit of video (pretty heavy usage) the battery was down to 40%. Not bad and after reviewing what was using up the battery, 26% was due to the display, 26% due to cell standby, 23% to the android system and 13% to the phone being idle. the rest was syncing and bluetooth. 3G was turned on all the time and I was also receiving emails as they come in. Hopefully the updates will bring some improvement in this though.
This phone just rocks. And I can't help but keep picking it up and having a flick thru everything and playing with Timescape and Mediascape. Media Go is great for transferring video and music (although not every album cover was present when it transferred to the phone, it was in my library) and when I played a video back for the first time I thought it was impossible to play it fullscreen but soon realized that all u need to do is double tap the screen and the video is presented in all its fullscreen glory.
