@Bennie: I too have noticed the faster download speeds. This may be attributable to the fact that many people like Aya, Coola etc cannot log on, so the few of us who can get a connection are having a field day.
The toxic smoke was not a hoax, but it cleared after about 4hours. I inhaled about 100cubic metres of it yesterday. There was no escaping it if you lived around this area. Even my car's A/C was powerless against it. Makes me realise our vulnerability to chemical or biological warfare in this country.

I have been informed on good authority that the smoke was from a gas pipeline explosion somewhere not far off from here (I do not remember the name specifically). Mamba will show up soon. i am sure he is fine.

@Aya: How come you did not come in contact with the haze since you live close to its source?

@mamba: In my books, anyone who can still post on Esato is fine! Thank God you are alive o. Some people almost sent a search party after you.

I am not sure how the "devil smoke" did not get to my end, but I certainly am glad it didn't!!!!

@Mamba: Sorry o I hear the smoke was thickest around that your area. Do you suppose you could sue the company whose gas tank ruptured?

I thot naturally smoke is lighter than air and supposed to float upwards. How come this one rather stayed on the surface?
U guys are too much in Lagos, over-humidity. U need an El-Rufai.
