@druk - setool.net only provides the software and the firmware files, not the h/w required. You also need credits which you have to buy in order to unbrand your handset.

druk let me tell that if u r using other service provider sim card on ur mobile phone which is O2 sock locked means that ur cell is unlocked as far as GPRS goes you will have to create a new GPRS a/c in ur phone along with a new data connection setting once done just select the new setting and try to surf .......... i remember my T610 was T-Mobile socklocked but i was able to connect 2 GPRS using though the vendor told me i cant infact that wacko!!! asked how did u start GPRS on it
so i think breaking the sock lock is important

@niranjan branding is a process by which companies who provide network sell the handsets under their brand name they program the hand sets such a way that a person purchasing their phone cannot use other service provider sim e.g if i buy a samsung from CINGULAR i wont be able to use it with T MOBILE or VERIZON or MTN or ORANGE OR AIRTEL for that matter this is done so that even if the customer doesnt like the service he has to stick to the same provider or if he is filthy rich he can throw that phone and buy a new one ........... i think that explains alllll
