@blue, no man, if i format i dont think i can get it up and running. when i instralled this version of xp more than 3 years ago, i had aa diff mobo, then i cannhed the mobo, the processor, recently i took out the graphics card as it went kaput. soo this one has seen so many changes, plus the main part is i dont have an xp key that can pass the sp2 test, so this sp1 machine has seen a lot of hard ships, and there are loads of programs in here that i dont have the setup for.
i am thinking of buying a new harddisc pref a 120 and put this as a secondary. and hopefully install media centre edition on it.
