Yeah, 2K screen with S801 sucks imho. At least S805 and a bigger battery.

Exactly!
What I want to say is all the past rumors weren't correct
Z3C Past rumors were disappointing ..... but if the 1080p and 4'6 screen is the right info
then 89% Z3 will pack s805 and 2K screen ... especially that Note 4 is for sure going to pack s805 and both devices will be announced at the same IFA

Since the specs for Z3C and Z3 must be same and slightly different in terms of screen size ,battery capacity and design.I think Z3 may not have S805 SoC.

Personally I'm not a fan of 2K screens on small devices due to battery performance being affected. I tested the LG G3 in my store on full brightness with only a 1080p video on loop without any other apps running in the backrgound and the battery was down to 4% in just over 4 hours and 32 minutes. A Z2 however with the same 1080p video on loop lasted just shy of 7 and half hours again on full brightness with no other apps running in the background.
primary effect to determine battery life longevity is brightness, different devices has it own config value of it maximum brightness as well as different in technology structure or component inside.
actually hard to compare except you have proper tools to conduct such a test.
video playback is fine to do for initial comparison but don't take it seriously.

^ the LG G3 has a maximum brightness of 430 cd/m2 and the Xperia Z2 has a maximum brightness of 420 cd/m2 so not a big difference in overall brightness and definitely not enough to cause that much difference in playback time.

Difference in brightness isn't the issue, it's how the brightness is generated and what optimisation technologies are in place e.g. WhiteMagic.
Things like HW or SW video and audio decoding make a huge difference too as does general environment optimisations, whether or not the device is within it's first boot (and therefore caching a lot in the background), screen type, battery type and capacity amongst other variables.
As HxH was alluding to, to do a true test you need a test bench with all components, hw and sw, common except the screen. Then you should get a true result as to the power consumption comparison.
