@marlonski - I agree ! Because the W800i produces sharp images (same with K750i) matey. Nice pics!

@marlonski - can you give a couple of photo enhancing tips? i'm using arcsoft photobase3 and photostudio5.
also, i've noticed that most posters uses only a max resolution of 0.3-0.5 MP in most of their photos. doesn't anybody use the extended mode? it gives off atleast 1MP resolution and i think it looks better than the large size option of the cam.
keep up the great pics guys! as soon as i get me a USB cable for my k7 i'll be uploading my own. i'm getting really envious at all your pics especially marlonski's

@duo_m - thanks for your comments mate, the guys here post some great shots and all of us that contribute are very proud of not only the amount of posts that we have here but also the variety and quality of shots posted.
I'm no expert but have detailed a couple of the basics I use to enhance some of my photo's.
Black and White pictures - I find I better results when actually using the b&w setting to take a picture but if you have the ability to manipulate a colour photo you will sometimes find that a b&w version can add a new dimension giving a completely different feel to that of the original.
I would also have a look to see whether you have a sharpen function, which again can make a diffence but you have to be carefull when working with vga 640x480 pictures that you don't effectively add artificial noise to a picture by over doing it.
I have and 'autofix' button in my software to correct the lighting. This can make a difference and can sometimes improve the original.i sometimes also use manual settings, more so with b&w
Noiseware - link below, very useful but again you can achieve varying levels of success with this. Sometimes a little noise reduction produces the best result, take too much out and lose too much detail.
You mention using the 1mp resolution, the K700i's "extended" resolution mode. What this does is use the regular VGA sized camera sensor for the photo, apply a few algorithms, and generate a a 1.2MP image. The quality of the images is not really on par with a true megapixel camera but not bad at all, I found the quality better using the 640x480 setting in fine mode, but this is a personal choice as with most of the guys posting here.
Take some shots with the larger setting, there aren't many pictures on here taken at the larger size so it will be interesting to see the results you get

@duo_m, thanks mate

What type of camera are you using ? If it's a vga then
NOISEWARE is a handy piece of software to have and can help clean up your pictures, have a play with the settings as you will find that each will give you different results. This is the one that you want and it's free
Noiseware Community Edition
v 2.5 (build 2501)
Free Download for Windows XP (1.3MB)
Free Download for Windows 98SE/Me/2000 (2.3MB)

hehe! thanks guys, nice to know I was missed! I'm always here in spirit, even if I don't have time to post much. K700 is still the best picture thread!

THE ANCESTRAL WARRIOR
by Chili
A storm of evil gathers
A cloud of death and fear
It feeds on pain and suffering
It thirsts for blood and tear
The ancient warrior watches
As though he were of stone
Unbeknownst to mortals
They'll live through him alone
Five hundred years have passed
Since Evil was subdued
Or so the Books narrate --
They never ceased to feud
He wonders how he'll fight
With sword, with gun, with might?
Or shall he run for office
And make them see the light....
