omni,
how do u set up a new gprs acc....and where?
how to obtain a new data connection setting...
my wife was using gprs on her old nokia...so that shud mean she already has a gprs setting right?
so we just need to sort out how to create a new one in this set and bypass the o2 setting...
any clues?

It will take you to SE's website from where you can get the gprs settings. Enter the correct information and the settings will be sent to you via sms.

Ok this might sound confusing but simple 1st create a new internet ac in K700i it will ask you 2 name it which is the type of gprs you have then it will ask you connect using new data connection then it will ask APN which again depends kind of subscription you have basic gprs or data gprs then login name is +91and your mobile number no zero before ur mobile number then password 0000 once that done data ac is created then edit the internet settings and add the IP address as per your service provider setting
