A newbie here... How exactly do I upgrade the firmware version of my phone and to which version should I upgrade it to? help please... :-/

It's easy. Just download from www.sonyericsson.com SE Update Service tool and follow the instructions Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Can I do it over an internet cafe? How safe would that be? Thanks once again... btw, to which firmware version should I upgrade it to? Any suggestions? ..

SE Update tool will automaticaly update your firmware to the newest version. Just follow the instructions

And yes you can do the updating in the internet caffe (why not?). Just take the cable with you and good luck.

well, if you're logged in as a guest you wouldnt have all privileges to install SEUS and some more programs.

Thanks. My firmware version is R1CA021. Is that good enough? Might as well stick to this fw ver.

naaaaaaah, you wont miss nothing. the latest FW lacks too much. stay with yor R1CA021. there are a lot of things you can do with it.
