But today brings the actual announcement? I'd understand if there had been a horrendous dry spell but no reason for leaks when we can have all the info in about 3 hours.
The smily just makes it look like he's expecting someone to post a picture when it's clearly not needed..

Well guys, all I'd say is you should all be ready to put up with fewer and fewer leaks going forward. Next year there will be much fewer rumors/leaks so better get prepared for it.

Well, Im only started to know about this site 2~3 months ago, so i dont really know much about the intensity of leaked information about SE in the past
But Im glad that Sony become more secure about information and its very hard for anyone to know what is their next move....
I like to get stunned when they introduce new devices with innovative tech (hopefully in the future), there is no point when they introduce something that we are already exprected
)
TBH, I like the way Apple doing the job, every time Mr Steve Jobs did his presentation, I was very excited to watch and listen to what he say and then introduced new gadgets
The point is that Apple did a great job about information leaking, so most of the time new Apple devices come out people get excited because they don't really know what Apple going to offer to them
But I dont like the idea of suing and closing down their ecosystem, they can share their basis ideas to drive the industry forward not like this time =.=. But I think SS deserve the $1.05B fine
Im glad Sony didn't follow Apple's way e.g Open their PS Mobile to other manufacturers
hopefully they will offer Gaikai and hopefully some of their services too
(They might need to provide some exclusive tech for their devices though
)

I've got no leaks/rumors to post today but just wanna share something that might still interest a few. There was a talk recently whether Sony would buy ST-Ericsson. Well I am not confirming it but Sony is indeed looking at making more acquisitions in the near future to benefit its mobile division.
So there might be a new acquisition made in the near future.

Sounds like a good idea, but I think texas instruments is planning to sell off their cpu division. So wouldn't that be better option? More people are aware about omap as compared to novathor!

All I'm saying is there will be a new acquisition or two in the near future for the Sony Mobile division and just maybe it could be ST-Ericsson or even TI OMAP. Or it could be some other firm we know little about that has nothing to do with smartphone chipsets.
