hi guys i m back again well i wud like to ask ........ that the trick which spartan have posted in front ...... can it work on nokia 6610i ( camera n infrared enabled) plz do tell me if it works on this phone ....... n plz do let me know the steps how to do it puh lease i need ur help guys hope u understand ! n wont depress me ! thanx again in advance !

@alan, i tried using megaleecher but it doesn`t work as it obviously doesn`t have ability to be configured to proxy servers.do u have any other way for downloading from megaupload. i`m downloading with flashget but it starts downloading only one split of the file and not 10 splits as it does for other websites.

it sure can work in 6610i..just install ur phone as a modem in ur pc and follow the steps of spartan..i dont know whether ter is a dialup problem with the second connection..if so try using one connection & check it out..or else we can discuss it out

No dude. There is no way to download a file having more than one split. BCoz file hosting services like Rapidshare & MegaUpload have a proxy which blocks it to avoid files downloaded using accelerators. I think now almost 60% of people are using flashget to download files from these sites.
I am glad to hear that Airtel has given MO for prepaid users in TN. If they give in Karnataka, Surely I will be a subscriber of it.

The apn 100.1.200.16 wit port 80 has stopped workin jus now! Looks like the airtel ppl r blockin loopholes. I also heard that by changin the sms centre no on airtel ppl r sendin free sms.

hey dude..u hav two options 2 install ur mobile as a modem 2 a pc..either u should hav a dku cable or infrared adaptor to use this function..if u hav either one of these then well & good..if u dont u should get one..then connect ur phone with dku cable or using ir to ur pc..i dont know about dku but i hav used ir...so once a connection is established ur pc will show ur phone model & blah blah..& finally it will show as standard modem over ir link..now goto control panel->phone & modem options->modems & click the modem & then its properties ->diagnostics->query modem..tats it..if the query is done correctly ,ur modem installation is successfull...then follow the steps from the first page...hope this helps..cheers
