It's worse.

it doesn't matter. it's a T, not a Cyber-shot branded K...

Wish they would do this in black, T610 style. not keen on either colour atm.

The key to T610's eye-catching appeal is due to the black TOP half.

The gleam of the black top edge, and the way the black contrasts with the screen and the keypad area, make for a timeless and irresistible design. It then doesn't matter what color the bottom area has -- silver, red, blue, gold, etc.

T650 has the darker area on the bottom half... But apart from this, T650 for me is really worlds away from T610 in terms of design objectives. Consider the following:

T650 is a "slim phone", a relatively recent standard for candybars. It's really a W880 alternative.

T610, on the other hand, is an earthy, full-figured, unpretentious but utterly sexy cellphone.

There is simply no room on the T650 for the silver wide stripe on the side and bottom. The T610 accommodates this gracefully, giving it a more 3-dimensional look.

To put it another way, T650 is a skinny underfed unsmiling pretty ramp model, while T610 is a well-endowed big-breasted big-assed Black Men magazine cover girl.

To each his own lust object.

Nice points.

For me the best thing about the T610, and which gets me everytime I pick it up is the way it feels.

The metal feel of the brushed aluminium gives it a 'cold steely feel' to the hand and this adds to the 'weightyness' making feel solid and well built. You only get this feeling of quality with metal casings that are far from flimsy - compare this to the T300.

The T650i I would expect to feel like an all metal version of the W880i, slim but stiff and cool to the touch. Thats what these two have in common.

How could it be when the K800 and K810 have the same camera?

From few comparation shots seen furter back in this thread, the K800 pictures seem slightly better than T650, but not by much. Granted that K800 is a CyberShot after all, I think that's the way SE want's it to be i.e. you buy K800/K810 for the camera and T650 for the looks.

Yes, it's also worse than what K810 produces...

I'd say it's not just a little. The general quality (not talking about colors here) is a bit worser and the colors are the worst part when comparing.

Um the T610 had a brushed aluminum feel? That OLD phone right? the one with VGA camera no flash? To Me the T610 felt very plastic like & cheap compared to the T68m/i. Only the T630 was a good refinement, but even then its just too old. I don't wish to go backwards yet forwards in design & use of materials.

T650 is so much better in design; pure elegance in a svelte package, quality materials with an easy to use GUI that anyone can learn in less than 5mins.
